Man, I haven't updated in a while. What has it been...nearly two years? Wow...

Anyway, I guess I can get everyone up to speed on what has happened since...whenever.

Firstly, I graduated. It seems that much is obvious, seeing as my friends here on DA have said that they have. We were in the same class. Not much inference needed there. There were a good amount of events that happened before the graduation, but after the last journal, so let me put small snippets of information to prevent this from becoming OMGhuge.

-New Year's 2008: pretty fun, but fairly average

-Valentine's Day 2008: felt a little awkward at first since I haven't dated anyone before, but it was pretty cool. Got a small gift. Drama ensued shortly after (involves a light-fingered thief we never caught and aforementioned gift, but...I'm not gonna get into that)

-College applications, continued: I didn't say this back then, but I still have memories of scrambling about, getting things together to send to colleges so that I can continue my education. I got most of my stuff done prior to the previous journal and events happened that influenced certain answers on the tag (especially on the December 15th of that year), but it was stressful and arduous, but it's over.

-Senior Presentation (pre-presentation): Among the most annoying endeavors of information collecting/compilation that I've ever done. I had to take the college acceptance and scholarship information from every student and put it into a database of my creation. The good part: I was able to give the school a lump sum of scholarships and acceptances that allows us to brag about it. The bad part: I had such a hard time getting the information on time. The presentation itself was on the process and the Excel program I was using to make the database, but that wasn't that bad. There's another story on how that went, but that's a separate part of this journal.

-Senior Presentation (the actual presentation): Interesting night. Everyone was scheduled to give their presentation on different times of the night in different rooms. I expected to go on at a certain time and, in the meantime, hang out with my girlfriend, one (Tama-chan). However, I was interrupted by one of my classmates saying that I needed to get to my room THAT MOMENT. Apparently, someone forgot their flash drive and I had to go WAY impromptu. Nervousness set in and things got a little hairy during the presentation, but everything turned out all right. Hung out a little with Tama and other friends of mine, end of story.

-Graduation Ceremony: My goodness it was BORING! Saying over 400 names must've made that one announcer guy's throat raw! I was falling asleep in my chair and I was just waiting for the point where we could throw our caps up in the air, all cliche-like (even though I didn't so I wouldn't lose my cap) and go on our merry way. It's not like I didn't like my school. It was just TOO long! I'd explain Tama-chan strife (as Salutatorian) up on the stage (doing two speeches and having her name near the top of the list, making her not really required to pay attention until the end of the ceremony), but I don't really NEED to.

-Project Graduation: Now THIS was FUN. It was a night that only cost us 5 bucks and gave us full reign over a Go-Kart track and Arcade with a mini-golf course. Much cheating in golf, much fun with go-karts and much overall fun was had.

-Work: Yeah. I got a job. It’s decent, I guess, but my job maintaining a buffet has already caused me to talk Tama-chan's ear off with complaints. It helps pay for college, but it IS fairly annoying nonetheless. At least my coworkers, for the most part, are pretty cool.

-College: There's not much here that I can say. I'm here. I go to school. I pay the bill for it. I pass classes. I have 4.0. But, I can't really say I'm going to be able to keep that for long, seeing as my Calculus 3 class is kicking my tail. In between, my breaks are filled with work (see above category) and I'm attempting to shove my social life into the picture somehow (with SOME success).

So...that's pretty much it. I have a few events coming up in the near future, but I'll keep that for another time.
